Hello, and welcome to the 2020-2021 school year! My name is Molly Walker and I am so glad to have the opportunity to be your teacher this year!
I am a 1991 graduate of St. Mary’s Collage. I graduated from St. Mary’s with a degree in both Early Childhood and Elementary Education. I began my teaching career at WACS in 1992 as a second grade teacher. I taught third grade, kindergarten and preschool at Cathedral and St. Mary’s until May of 2000. I had seven wonderful years teaching at WACS, I loved being a part of the WACS family! It was a very difficult decision for me to leave the teaching profession when I did but one I will never regret because this gave me the opportunity to stay home and take care of my four young children. Now that my children are quite a bit older I am so glad that I was given the opportunity to return to teaching at WACS! I feel very blessed to be apart of the WACS family as a teacher again!
Outside of the classroom my favorite thing to do is to spend time with my family; my husband Scott and our four children Tom, Sarah, Julie and Laura. My family enjoys taking trips together and we love to visit our families who live in the Chicago and Milwaukee area. We also love animals and whenever possible we help take care of animals in need. I like to share these experiences with my students whenever I can too!
First grade is such a wonderful year, we will have so many adventures together! I look forward to getting to know you and spending my days with you. My students brighten my days and keep a smile on my face!
