I am a Winona native. I went to Cathedral school K-6th grade (before consolidation), St. Stan's for 7-8th grade, and Cotter High School 9-12th grade (in the Wabasha/Lafayette building, the last class to graduate before the move to the St. Theresa campus). I went to college at Winona State University where I graduated with honors with a double major in vocal/classroom music education and instrumental/classroom music education.

I have been teaching at St. Stan's School since Jan. of '98. I have taught 5/6 general music & 5/6 choir in the past. I have also been teaching 5/6 band since '98 and Kindergarten music since '02. I also assist with the music for masses at St. Stan's School.

Outside of school, I teach piano lessons to 18 students. I also am the principal keyboard accompanist at Cathedral Church where I have been playing in varying degrees since 8th grade. I am the music director at Immaculate Heart of Mary Seminary. I continue to play piano at Cotter High School for the fall musicals and the Solo and Ensemble competitions, and at Cotter Jr. High for the spring musical. In the summer I play percussion for the Winona Municipal Band on Wednesday evenings.

I enjoy spending free time traveling. I have been to Europe five times and Israel on extensive trips and have traveled throughout most of the Eastern US. I also enjoy spending time with my parents, siblings and their families.

I am proud to say that I love my job(s). I can think of nothing better than being able to share and teach my joy of music with others.
